This may seem like an odd question, but it has been plaguing me for a while now. My friend told me a about a book 3 or 4 years ago. As I remember it: (according to the book–not debating any kind of philosophies here) there is a thin veil between the living and the dead and regular folks can’t see “the other side”, but one woman had the layers of the veil pulled back and can see into both sides–which was not neccessarily a good thing. I believe it was a traumatic event that may have caused this.
My friend does not even remember having this conversation so she is of no help (but I still adore her).
I am not sure if this is fiction or non-fiction, but I would like to read it because two books I have in my TBW (To Be Written) queue could/do cross this path.
Does this sound familiar? Similar to something?
